Transportation

Happy bus driver looking through the widow of a vehicle.

Your voice matters!

The Better Communities Coalition Transportation Task Force and partner organizations have launched a survey to gather insights on the transportation needs of our Morgan County community. Share your thoughts and help us advocate for more resources to improve transportation in Morgan County.

Goals

1. Establish Fixed Route(s) throughout Morgan County

2. Improve access to daily transportation services; increase hours of operations, expand rides to other counties, decrease wait time/call-ahead time.

3. Locate or create a Transportation Needs Assessment for Morgan County

4. Increase Active Transportation; more trails/bike lanes/bikes in community/share the road signage

5. Acquire support from county/grants/other to offer rides for free (especially for low-income, high-risk populations and for those needing transportation for medical needs)

6. Grow task force/get more involvement
